STAY HERE, MILWAUKEE: Help bring Sarah Braman’s Stay home. Permanently.
A Place to Pause. A Place to Belong.
This spring, Sculpture Milwaukee invites the community to help secure a permanent home for Sarah Braman's Stay, a sculptural gathering place designed for sitting, looking, resting, and reflecting.
Now through April 24, we’re working together to reach a $10,000 community campaign goal, the final, public step in ensuring this work remains in Milwaukee, permanently.
Currently located on Northwestern Mutual’s campus as part of Actual Fractals, Act II, Stay was commissioned by Sculpture Milwaukee with a clear intention: that it would one day belong fully to the public. With your help, it will soon move to Burns Commons, a Milwaukee County park on Milwaukee’s East Side, where it will be free and accessible to all, every day, in every season.

Why Stay Matters
Stay is more than a sculpture. It is:
A place to sit during a walk or bike ride
A pause point along the Oak Leaf Trail and the lakefront
A space to watch light shift through colored glass
A site for connection - quiet or shared
